University of Moscow – the oldest classical university in Russia. Its professors and graduates have made an invaluable contribution to the development of national science, education and culture. MSU today – it is a complex of 40 faculties that train personnel in various fields.
The Faculty of Economics is one of the largest faculty of Moscow State University in terms of the number of students. The faculty was the first in Russia to completely switch to a multilevel system of training students. About 1,600 students study in the four-year bachelor’s program, and about 600 students study in the master’s program (two-year programs). There are 5 Dissertation Councils at the faculty for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences, more than 300 people study in graduate school.
More than 2,000 students study business education programs annually.
